How much material do I need?
Measure the length and width of the area, decide on your depth, and we'll do the math with you. As a rule of thumb: one cubic yard of mulch covers about 100 sq ft at 3 inches deep; one cubic yard of topsoil covers about 160 sq ft at 2 inches.
What's the difference between screened and unscreened topsoil?
Screened topsoil has been passed through a mesh to remove rocks, roots, and clumps, giving you a consistent, workable soil that's ready for grading, seeding, or planting.
